Your domain name needs to be renewed, typically every year, but some TLD's operate on a 2 year basis.
You will see the term available in your Client Management account at https://www.elive.net

Elive will issue you with a renewal invoice 29 days before your domain comes due for renewal outlining the costs involved.

We will then issue reminders 6 and 1 day before expiry and 2 and 21 days after expiry.

** Note: We have to send expiry reminders as part of Registry Compliance, so you will receive these emails even if you are letting your domain expire

Most domains will stop resolving DNS records on the day they expire or within 2-3 days

Most domains can be renewed for up to 30 days after expiry without incurring extra fees, however some domains requite an activate fee on expiry.

After this, they will go into a Redemption Phase, during which a restoration fee will apply should you wish to renew them.

They will then be cancelled/deleted after a number of days ( this varies per domain TLD) and open for others to register the domain.
